Dr Flavia Germann

Dr Flavia Germann is Assistant Professor of International Law and senior lecturer in European Union Law at Utiu University, Rome, Italy. In January 2014 she has been awarded the National Habilitation to the position of Associate Professor in International Law and European Union Law. She holds a PhD in International Law, a Diploma in International Humanitarian Law awarded by the ICRC and two J.D.s in Political Science and Law from the University of Florence.

Dr Flavia Germann's areas of expertise include European Union law, International, EU and Swiss migration law, disaster law and international criminal law. She leads a research project on International disaster law, and lectured in various universities and also taught training courses for Red Cross instructors, military personnel and public officials on international humanitarian law, international and European migration law and disaster law.

Dr Flavia Germann has published a book and numerous articles in journals and edited volumes.
